Goodbuy Girls is a part of the Idea Hatchery, a collective of indie shops located in the heart of East Nashville. We love our neighborhood and so does The Washington Post!
“A trip to Nashville wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the honky-tonks of lower Broadway and a pilgrimage to the “mother church of country music,” the Ryman Auditorium, but once you’ve hit those, consider a trip across the river to Nashville’s hippest neighborhood.”
“For shopping, a row of tiny boutiques called The Idea Hatchery (1108 Woodland St.) includes everything from an all-local bookstore (East Side Story) to a gourmet oatmeal shop (Haulin’ Oats) with lots of vintage and kitsch in between.”

Hey GGs! Meet Mary Katherine Morris (Katie) and Montana Knudsen of Venus in Spurs, a line of clothing and gear designed, crafted, and cultivated for cowgirls, rebels and any equestrian looking to channel their inner outlaw, because you’re going to be seeing a lot of them now that they have joined forces with us and we couldn’t be more happy and grateful to have them on board. Read what they had to say about teaming up here.
While Katie resides in Alabama doing photography and making those gorgeous horse hair pendant necklaces you see, Montana is living here in Nashville and will be at the shop 3 days a week! Montana is an artist and graphic designer adding her hand-painting skills to pieces like this steer skull denim jacket for sale at Goodbuy Girls and venusinspurs.com

Goodbuy Girls will be hosting a pop up shop for Revivall Clothing March 11th from 12-6. Revivall Clothing owner Laura Laroux has been voted Eugene, Oregon’s best clothing designer for 3 years in a row!
“I believe in the constant reuse of everything already produced in an effort to cut down on the detrimental effects of the fashion industry on our planet. My pieces are one of a kind but use uniform, consistent patterns that fit and flatter most body types. I created a head-to-toe style that reflects my brand, including hats, belts, sock garters, dresses, overalls, and bloomers. Everything is re-used from old or scrap fabrics and my dresses are made from mens button down shirts. I believe fashion should be fun and reflective of individual personality and/or mood without having to sacrifice eco-ethical morals.
Revivall blends my cow girl roots with my urban farm-girl lifestyle.
I believe in Great Spirit and the power of positive vibrations. I hope that the light and love produced while making these clothes is transferred to the wearer. Many blessings on your journey!
